Marriage

visitors to this blog would know i am not a regular writter but i do try to write in at least once a week.this is an issue which is common in almost every other indian household. no offence to the other races. the difference between the indian race and the other races are, in an indian house at the age of 21, there would be people trying to arrange your marrriage and the moment you finish your education, they are all at your doorstep instigating your parents to get you married.however in a chinese or even a malay household, they would ask if you have gotten yourself a partner.

the same thing happened in my house today. the big marriage topic was brought up.. oh-oh.. my grandmother had to start the topic. oh for god's sake!! i have not even finished my diploma.life is more than marriage.i am not saying that i would want to remain single my entire life
NO! i want to spend the rest of my life with that someone special.i will eventually want to move on to the next phase of life but not yet..at least not till i am prepared to do so.some people will take longer to reach that phase than the rest. but i iwll leave it to fate.

Frenster

i read an article in the newspaper this morning regrading the use of 'Frenster'. pardon me if i got the spelling wrong. i never understood why so many young people flocked to the net to register for this site. it just lets other people know about you and helps you find friends whom you have lost touch with andprobably forgotten(you may not even want to hear from this person for the rest of your life but guess what! thanks to friendster..TAH DAH!..you're back to square one with the person right next to you...shhheesssh) well obviously some pf you out there may not agree with me but hey thats how i feel.

well i have to agree there are some advantages of frenster..i am not saying its all bad.. my best friend met her boyfriend there. well it does help in the matchmaking scenes as well..hmmm maybe we do not need agensies for vietnam brides anymore..hehe..

now apparently even gang members are posting their gang members prfiles online... hmm...even ah bengs are IT savy..god! what is the world coming too..

there are always too sides of a coin.. so whatever you do...be careful...

First Week Over

The first week of my holidays have already gone by..what have i accomplished? nothing muchactually besides one of my assignments..and mind you i have another three more to go..help me!! i just had my laptop reformatted..had some problems with the mouse pad and there was this porn sire which kept popping out whenever it felt like it..

hmmm...nothing much has happened this past week...even the newspapers did not have anything interesting besides the release of the O and A level results.. can still remember when it was my time,,,the anticipation...the chills down the spine...the relief... life is so different now..i just look at those collecting their results and laugh...poor chaps! but hey!! i was probably laughed at too..i know my dad did for sure..

the heat wave is getting terrible...the weather is so bad...thank god for 7-11 and cheers stores scattered island wide
