The lunch on friday went well. We went to this Bollywood chinese cuisine restaurant in Liverpool. I had Singaporean Fried Rice which tasted great. They even provided sambal which was a hit on our table. I think we finished the entire jar for them. Hehehe.. The serving was huge so we were covered for two meals. The money was worth spending. We walked around liverpool after that. Its a very punjabi town with loads of skih shops. It felt like a was walking down Southall in UK. We ended up having McDonalds for dessert. We came back to Lidcombe for that. I felt like having entertainment badly so i decided to borrow a DVD which i did. I fell asleep halfway through the movie. It was not boring BUT i was just too tired.
I went down to city on saturday. I had to look for a book for my old man. I kinda got it but i needed to order it so i had to make sure my dad gives me the right details. I also went down to the Glipe market. Bought a bag and a book. :-) Was looking for a skirt but unfortunately i did not see anything nice. Actually it can be FORTUNATELY i did not see anything nice. I had wantan noodles for dinner. There were too many dumplings so i passed half of them to my friend who was with me. We then walked down to Darling Habour to take a walk. But it was packed with people. It was a saturday night after all so what can you expect! Had coffee at starbucks and before we realised it, it was already eleven. So overall i had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend. I have a project meeting later this evening.
I finished my laundry for the week this morning. Its very tiring to hand wash your clothes. Bless the person who invented the washing machine. But its an experience so i guess i will appreciate the washing machine back home. The washing machine has become such an important part of our lives that we cannot do without it. I remember when the washing machine back home broke down, the house was upside down. Clothes had to be hand washed. It was quite terrible! To make matters worse, the washing machine could only be delivered two days after the order. So our agony was extended. But now, i guess its not too bad since i only do my laundry like twice a week. So peeps, APPRECIATE the washing machine.
