Its a Friday!!!

I have been looking forward to the weekend the entire week. This week being over means that i have officially two assignments and one presentation left for the semster. I can't wait to get it over and done with! But it just hit me HARD that the second semester would be here soon and i would be packing my bags soon. Having abit of mixed feelings about it though.

Went down to Auburn yesterday to get some grocery shopping done. Bought a six pack yogurt..hehe..i think it tastes GOOD!! its a better alternative to ice cream Talking about that i had turkish coffee ice cream yesterday. I also bought bought four packs of flavoured tea. I am trying green mango tea now. Its not too bad although a sppon of sugar would have made it taste better. I bought green tea mint too and this cranberry, strwaberry and some berry flavour. Can't remember whats in the last box though.

I managed to get tealight candles for tuesday. They sold the traditional ones where you have to put oil and the cotton. I was like 'sudah la!!!!!!' . So leceh!! Back home. i don't even use such traiditional stuff , so why would i be using it here?????? I bought vanilla scented candles. Its abit sad to know that i will not be able to join in the celebrations with my family.Knowing their itenary just makes me feel even worse. I know they have a dinner at the Singapore Recreational Club tomorrow evening. On sunday, my dad's friend is having a dinner party at his house.On monday night, my uncle is having a gathering at his house. Tuesday is gonna visiting and the traditional dinne at my aunt'slace. Umm i think there are more dinners on hari raya and the following weekend. At least i know they will be having a good time.

Its painful to know that i would be lighting diwali lamps alone this time. Usually my famil and i do it at midnight on diwali's eve. So this year i guess i will have to do it alone.....

Family isn't about whose blood you have. Its about who you care about.
